The perfectly imperfect quote sits inside a black heart that runs on 2 loose lines close together, not a solid filled shape, so it reads hand-traced rather than printed. Up the left curve theres a run of leopard spots and tiny scattered hearts stacked all the way from the dip at the bottom to the top of the arch, it takes up maybe a third of the left side. Then inside the heart the word PERFECTLY sits in chunky bold satin lettering straight across the middle, and right below it, overlapping a bit, imperfect in a flowing cursive script that goes slightly downhill to the right. Two crossed needles or scissors at the bottom point finish the whole composition.
Its one of those designs thats completely at home on sewing and crafting gear, which is who I built it for. The leopard-print detail on the heart is a nod to that bold personality type who loves a bit of pattern mixing in their fabric stash. I digitised it in Wilcom in a single black thread so theres no colour swapping mid-run, the whole thing stitches from 8k to just under 17k depending on which of the 5 sizes youre using.
People who sew buy this for themselves, its the kind of quote that lands for anyone whos been stitching long enough to know nothing ever comes out perfectly and thats fine actually. Last week a customer told me she stitched the 6-inch onto her machine cover and it was the most her thing shes ever made. I get that, this is a self-expression piece more than a gift piece, though it makes a good gift too for someone you know who is into sewing.
Stitch it on white cotton or a pale grey fabric so the black reads sharp against the open heart outline. Use a good tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton because the column stitching on the lettering needs something solid underneath but this isnt a heavy design, 16k stitches at the biggest size. Skip dark fabrics, the open double-line heart disappears without the contrast. Hoop flat and watch the cursive script section because the flowing letters jump around a lot. Email me if anything looks off after the first test run and Ill sort it fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
