The phoenix wings go wide, long tail feathers trail down into floral stems below, the whole bird caught mid-rise. Crimson red fills the body and the feather outlines and wing interior run in a contrasting teal aqua, it gives the whole thing this dual-colour glow that pops hard against a dark ground. Sharp beak, spiky head crest, that serious mythical bird stare. Real tattoo flash energy, not a cartoon.
Down at the base the floral section kicks in, hibiscus-style blooms and curling stems winding around the lower tail and spilling outward. The flowers stay kinda loose compared to the tight feather work higher up, which is intentional, the contrast between the two textures is what makes it read. I get messages from fantasy artists and tattoo shops asking for this one, someone used it last june for a jacket back-panel commission and sent me photos of the finished piece. Stitch count goes 20k at the 4.5-inch up to just under 31k on the largest 7.5-inch size.
Looks best on black or very dark backgrounds where the red and teal jump off the fabric. Try it on a black cotton tee, charcoal canvas tote, deep navy denim jacket, anything dark. Light grounds flatten the two-colour contrast and the bird loses its drama. Hoop tight on a firm cutaway stabiliser, the fine feather lines at the wing tips need solid backing or they drift. Skip stretchy fabrics on the bigger sizes, 31k stitches on jersey wont hold flat.
Use fine polyester thread for the teal sections to keep line clarity. The red satin body zones want smooth bobbin tension or youll get puckering on the dense chest fill. Mid or slow stitch speed on the wing feather outlines. Bug me if anything in the download looks off and ill fix it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
