Honestly this one took me longer than I expected to test. The bee body has 3 distinct fill zones going on, the black abdomen in satin with those segmented lines running through it, the golden yellow stripes in tatami so they dont look flat, and then the wings in directional stitching to get that semi-transparent glassy look. All that before I even got to the honeycomb cluster behind her or seven flowers scattered around the edges in coral pink and sky blue. Crown on top done in a tight satin fill. Its a lot of layers but when its all hooped up together it reads really cleanly, and the cursive "Queen Bee" script at the bottom ties everything together without competing with the bee itself.
At the largest size, 6.21 x 7.51 inches, youre looking at just over 35,000 stitches, so this isnt a quick half-hour project. Hoop your denim or canvas good and tight, and definately use a cutaway stabiliser underneath because that stitch density will pull thinner fabrics if theres any give. Just last week a lady who keeps chickens and bees ordered this for her market apron, she sent me a photo and the golden honeycomb against her dark denim looked stunning. The 4 inch version sits really well on linen pouches and cotton twill aprons, compact enough to not dominate but still shows all three flower types clearly. Skip the topping on woven fabric, but on terry or fleece you need water-soluble topping over the script section or the bobbin thread shows through the loops.
Pair the coral pink flowers with a cream or blush background if you want a softer read, or stick with classic white cotton for maximum contrast on the black outline. Centre the design carefully, Iron your stabiliser flat before hooping so the underlay doesnt shift mid-stitch on the dense crown section.
Message me if you want a version without the border.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Denim jacket back panelHonestly my favourite placement for this one is a denim jacket, the golden honeycomb against indigo is genuinely gorgeous.
- Canvas tote bagTote bags take the 4 inch nicely on canvas without any topping, just hoop firm and the satin outline stays sharp.
- Kids sweatshirtKids fleece sweatshirts need a cutaway underlay or the tatami fill sinks into the nap and loses definition.
- Beekeeper gift apronA heavy cotton twill apron handles the full stitch count at the largest size without puckering around the honeycomb edges.
- Cotton pillowcaseCentre it on a cotton pillowcase at the 5 inch size and the crown sits right at eye level when the pillow is propped.
- Baseball cap frontA structured cap frame fits the 3 inch version well, skip the standard hoop ring and the script stays clean.
- Linen pouch bagLinen pouches at the 4 inch size show off the coral and blue flowers best against natural undyed fabric.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
