Put this one together last october after several requests for a combined cloud-and-rainbow design that wasnt just a flat arc. The idea was to give the rainbow an anchor, so it sits on top of a proper fluffy cloud rather than floating in space. Six colours total: white for the cloud body, then the five arc colours in the rainbow. Stitch count runs 9,571 at 3.5 inches to 28,032 at 7.5 inches.
Density of 631 means that fluffy satin cloud has real coverage and feels tactile when you run your hand over it. The underlay on the cloud lobes is layered so it doesnt look thin or patchy even on coloured fabric. Six colour stops in the file, the cloud base goes down first, then the rainbow arcs build on top from red to violet. A customer who does personalised baby items messaged me saying she had recieved a great response using the 5.5-in build on swaddle pouches, which makes sense because the cloud pops beautifully on pastel cotton. And because theres enough density in the satin, it doesnt flatten out after washing, which isnt something you can say about every design at this stitch count.
Cutaway stabiliser on all knit and stretch fabrics. Tearaway is fine on woven quilting cotton or canvas. The 3.5 inch is small enough for a bib but all six colours are still clearly readable, the rainbow arc bands are wide enough to hold definition at that scale. Add the top 7.5 to a cot quilt or a pillow front for a nursery centrepiece. Pair it with a name or initial block below for personalised gifts, thats honestly where this design shines.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
