7 colours and this is a wide horizontal branch with 3 or 4 red roses at different stages, some fully open, some still in tight bud. Leaves along the branch in olive and dark green, the petals are layered in red with burgundy shadow fill underneath to give them dimension. Wide and low layout, 5.51 inches at the smallest going to 8.51 inches wide and only 2.5 to 3.86 inches tall. That landscape orientation is what makes it work so well along towel borders, hemlines, and bag sides.

Started this in industry tools with directional stitching on each petal layer, the fills angle slightly differently across inner and outer petals so they catch light at different points. Density is very high at 1709, and the stitch count runs from 34,818 at the smallest size all the way to 56,128 at the full 8.51 inch version. Four sizes total. Layer a thick backer on all fabric types, at this density and width the design needs a solid anchor or youll get shifting during the petal fill sections. Dont skip the underlay passes on the petal layers.

I've sold alot of floral pieces but customers keep coming back to this red rose branch specifically for towels and table runners. A customer last winter ordered 10 sets of guest towels embroidered with the 5.51 inch version. She said the red on white cotton terry was the most reliable gift she made that year. I understand exactly why, roses are classic and this one realy doesnt date.

Best on white, cream, or light grey fabric. Use a water-soluble film topping on terry cloth and velvet to keep the satin petals sitting on top of the loops. Stitch slowly through the dense petal sections, dont push your machine speed, the thread tension matters alot on layered fills. Skip synthetic satin fabrics because the needle can run and widen the stitch holes at high density.

Four sizes, 7 colour changes, and the result looks like a proper botanical print every time.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
