The fairy is asleep on top of a big open pink rose, one arm tucked under her cheek like shes just drifted off for a nap in the most impractical but charming place possible. Brown hair falls loosely around her face. Shes wearing a dark navy and pink dress that blends into the petals a little. The wings are the most visually dramatic part, large butterfly-style wings in sky blue and white spread out behind her, the inner sections done with a light veining pattern that adds a lil texture without going heavy.
Below her, the rose is fully open with petals layered in hot pink shading down to a softer blush at the tips. The stem is a deep forest green with visible thorns stitched in, and about halfway down theres a small red ladybug with black spots climbing upward. Fifteen colours in total and the range is what makes it feel like a complete little scene rather than just a single image. The stitch count tops out at 41k on the full 7.5-inch size, my embroidery software digitised the petal layers with directional fan stitching so they have real depth.
Honestly this is one of those designs where I get email from buyers who want it for completely different things. Girls bedroom cushions, new baby gifts, fairy-themed birthday party stuff, womens clothing accents. My daughter spotted it and wanted it on a denim back placement and it looked gorgeous on dark indigo denim, the pink petals pop against dark fabric really nicely.
Back it with fusible mesh under on anything knit or with stretch because 41k stitches on jersey will pull without proper backing. Hoop square and tight because the outer wing edges need tension to stitch flat. For flat cotton and linen tearaway works well. Skip dark fabrics like black or navy because the delicate pink petals and blue wings need a light base to read properly. Send a note if the file gives any trouble and Ill make sure you get the right version sorted quickly.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
