Came up with this one after seeing alot of generic soccer designs that dont really have any personality. Its a heart built out of a soccer ball, so the classic black pentagons and white hexagons are laid right over a love heart silhouette. The panels follow the curves properly, it doesnt look like a soccer ball just slapped on top of a heart. The whole shape reads as a heart first and then you notice the ball patterning.

Single black thread, 1 colour, no changes needed. The line density on the panel outlines is around 302 stitches per inch so theres good definition even at smaller sizes. Smallest runs 2 inches wide which is perfect for iron-on patches or jacket chest pockets, largest hits 8 inches for a centred shirt design. 7 sizes total ranging from 2 to 8 inches.

Stitch count goes from 2,738 at the small end up to 19,377 for the 8 inch version. And because its all black thread it stitches fast with zero colour stops. Pop a tearaway stabiliser behind woven cotton or canvas and you're done in one run. Back stretch fabric with cutaway if you're hooping jersey or fleece.

I get alot of messages from soccer mums and girls teams asking if I have designs that work for both sports gear and gift items. This is the one I always point em to. A customer ordered 12 of these last spring for a team jacket project and said they came out perfect on navy cotton twill.

Looks best on white, navy, grey or black backgrounds. Holler if you have any trouble with the download and I'll get it sorted straight away.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Soccer team jacket patchesA 4 inch version stitched on the back panel of a navy cotton jacket makes a clean team patch that holds up through washing.
  • Girls soccer backpack embroideryThe 3 inch size fits neatly on the front pocket of a canvas backpack without crowding other elements.
  • Sports water bottle pouch accentA small 2 inch version on a drawstring sports pouch adds a personal touch to a team water bottle gift set.
  • Team gift tote bagsStitched on the side of a natural canvas tote in black thread it reads sporty without being over the top.
  • Soccer mum hat brim detailThe 2 inch size sits perfectly along the front brim of a structured cap for a subtle soccer mum look.
  • Kids jersey left chest logoWorks on the left chest of a cotton jersey in any size from 3 to 5 inches without distorting the fabric.
  • Valentine gift for soccer playersA centred 5 inch version on a red or pink sweatshirt makes a sweet valentines gift for any soccer-loving kid.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
