The whole stand mixer is drawn at a slight angle so you see the body and the mixing bowl at the same time. Motor head on the left with that round ventilation circle on the side, the curved handle arc sweeping back, and the two dough hooks hanging straight down into the bowl. Theres a thick oval base pad at the bottom that the machine sits on, with a couple of concentric rings etched into it. Looks like a proper kitchen illustration, not a logo or clipart.
Its all done in black, one colour, so it works on basically anything. The motor head and base carry most of the density with solid satin fills, and the bowl and hooks stay as cleaner outlines so theres a bit of contrast between the two halves. That mix of filled areas and open lines is what gives it that vintage kitchen poster vibe without trying too hard. Ive had people ask me about this one more than any other kitchen design I've done, specially around Christmas when baking gifts are on everybodys list.
Stitch it on dark navy or forest green fabric and the black thread actually reads as a dark charcoal against the background, which looks a lot richer than on plain white. Hoop it tight because the satin fills on the mixer head dont forgive loose fabric. For the bigger sizes above 6 inches, back your woven cotton with an iron-on interfacing to stop those base-pad satin runs pulling up. The 3 inch version fits a shirt chest pocket without crowding it, which is honestly the size I'd recommend trying first if you're new to this design.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
