So this one has a completely different energy to that standing red one. Its low to the ground, leaning forward, both wings fanned out wide like its mid-pounce. Teal-mint body, warm golden-tan wing membranes between the finger struts, and a pink blush dot on the cheek that makes it read super kawaii.
The eye is drawn with a swirl inside rather than a plain black dot, which kinda gives it this slightly dizzy-happy expression. Belly has a row of small white circle accents, and the tail hooks up and curls into a little hook at the tip with the same swirl detail. Theres also a small horn-spike row along the spine. Altogether its 7 colours, digitised at 996 stitches per square inch in industry software. Thats a notably dense run, so the wing gradients and blush details stitch out with alot more dimension than you might expect at this scale.
Five sizes, ranging from 2.11 by 3.01 inches up to 4.9 by 7.01 inches. The bigger sizes hit up to 34k stitches. Because its taller than wide at the top end, this lends itself well to vertical placements like up a cot bumper panel, along a wall hoop column or centered on a pillow front. A customer last month picked up the large size for a nursery wall hoop in their baby rooms mint-and-gold colour scheme, said it looked like it belonged there from day one.
Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser and a sharp 75/11 needle, the density earns it. Go with smooth cotton, canvas or fleece as your base. Dont hoop stretchy jersey without a topping layer or the swirl details can shift off centre, float a water-soluble sheet on top and iron it flat after hooping. Skip heavy plush or velvet, the fine swirl circles disappear in deep pile.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Baby blanket corner accent in a fantasy nursery setPlace the 3-inch on the corner of a white baby blanket for a fantasy-themed newborn gift that feels personal and handmade
- Kids tote bag front panelCenter the 4-inch on a plain canvas tote and give it to a kid who insists on carrying their own things everywhere
- Dragon-themed birthday banner or bunting appliqueStitch a row of the smaller size on a felt banner strip for a dragon-themed birthday party that isnt just storebought
- Cot bumper panel in a mythical creatures nurseryApplique the medium size onto a fabric cot bumper panel as part of a mythical creatures nursery set with unicorn and phoenix companions
- Personalised baby shower gift on a muslin swaddleEmbroider on a muslin swaddle and gift it with a handwritten note for a baby shower; muslin shows off the light-satin teal beautifully

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
