There's a certain kind of nurse humour that doesnt shout, it just quietly acknowledges the whole situation. Thats what this design captures. The stethoscope is the main visual anchor, drawn clean and recognisable, and little star or sparkle accents dot the space around it. Then the text The Life of a Nurse runs in a calm, confident style underneath. Nothing dramatic, just an honest nod to the job. I think thats what makes it land so well.
No stitch specs are attached to this one, but the design is reasonably compact with the stethoscope as the primary fill element and the text below it. The sparkle accents are small satin stars so they need a tight hoop to look sharp. Tearaway stabiliser works well on cotton canvas and denim. For any soft or stretchy fabric like a scrub top, use a medium-weight cutaway. Slow the machine speed a touch when running the text block for the crispest result.
This gets made into zipper pouches, scrub jacket pockets, and canvas tote bags most often. I had a customer who ordered it specifically for a nurse going through a really tough stretch at work and said the design said everything she wanted to without being sentimental. That kind of thing sticks with you. Also works well on a water bottle pouch or small fabric bag for a hospital locker.
Message me a chat note if the zip file isnt opening right and Ill sort it out fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
