Heres the little turtle and hes one of those designs that just makes you smile. Hes mid-walk, one foot lifted, with a big grin on his face and these chunky cartoon eyes looking forward. Theres a couple motion lines behind his shell which gives it that feel of him actually plodding along.
The shell is the star of the show really. Its broken into rounded segments in warm orange and honey yellow, with darker outline detailing on each plate so they pop. The body is a soft sage green with a slightly darker green for the shading on the legs and underside of the head. Sitting underneath is a patch of grass digitised with quick angled stitches so it looks like he is actually walking through it.
The colour palette is kept tight, only six colours total, which keeps thread changes minimal even though the design feels rich. The orange and green play off each other really nicely so it reads bright without being loud.
Stitch count runs from 16k on a 3-in build up to 39k on the 7.5 inch hoop, 9 sizes in total. Pair mid cutaway with, the satin shell fills are dense. Run polyester thread for brightness through wash cycles.
Last christmas a customer ordered six on cream cotton onesies for a baby shower bundle and the orange shell carried beautifully on natural cotton. Pop this on toddler tees, canvas tote bags or cream linen nursery cushions. The walking pose gives it energy and the smile makes it work for baby shower gifts, toddler clothes, beach bags and school stuff. Skip dark fabric, the soft sage and warm orange want a pale background. Send screenshot if your test stitch looks off, Ill rework the punch fast fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
