Unicorn on rainbow is a chunky magical scene done in 18 thread colours, its basically the centrepiece of the kids fantasy range. White baby unicorn with rosy pink cheeks sits on top of a 6 stripe rainbow with her gold horn pointing up, gold wings tucked at her sides and a flowing mane in pink purple blue green yellow and orange.
Behind her sits a sky blue cloud shape with gold stars scattered around, and below the rainbow two fluffy white clouds rest on the ground. Smooth satin fills throughout, no harsh outlines, big shiny anime eyes with white highlight dots so the unicorns reading alive and alert. The cartoon style is straight kawaii, shes chubby and friendly looking like a soft toy.
9 sizes available, smallest is 3.5 inches across for sleeve cuffs, largest is 7.5 inches wide for cushion fronts and tee centres. Stitch counts climb 16k for small to 40k for the largest size, its fairly chunky stitching since the rainbow stripes carry dense fills.
One customer ordered alot of these from me this summer for her daughters 4th birthday party, sirprised me with how big the order was, she ended up running 18 in a single weekend. Kids party favours, take home tee gifts, and one big cushion for the birthday girls bedroom.
Stitch on cotton, jersey, fleece, flannel and lightweight canvas. Skip stretchy synthetics since the dense fills will distort the colour bands. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser on knit, the satin needs steady backing. Pre wash darker fabric once before hooping so the white unicorns body stays bright. Hoop tight so the stripes stay even side to side.
