Nine colours and eight sizes make this one of the more involved designs in my valentines day range. Stitch count goes from 17,358 at 3.5 inches wide to 41,836 at the full 7.49 inches. Heights match width almost exactly, from 3.51 to 7.51, so its a genuinely square composition which makes hooping and centering easy. Density sits at 115, thats comfortable for most mid-range machines, and the colour changes are spread out so theres no cluster of stops in one section.
Pair this with a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser on jersey knits or cotton lycra blends. On stable wovens like denim or canvas a tearaway holds fine. The skin-tone satin columns run at a slight diagonal to avoid the boardy look you get with straight fills. Two customers have told me the face detail comes through really well even below 4 inches, which was good to hear because tiny faces are tricky to digitise cleanly. Add a topping film on any fabric with texture to stop the satin from sinking into the weave. Use the 5-inch on a T-shirt chest and the figures are clear and proportionate.
Best placements are chest centre on adult shirts at 5 or 6 inches, or on a tote bag front at the full 7-inch. For pillow covers the 6-inch version centred looks gorgeous. Skip the 3.5-inch if you want fine face detail, expression subtlety is lost at that scale.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Matching Valentine's Day couples T-shirtsThe 5-inch size sits centrally on an adult tee chest, use jersey cutaway for stretch knits.

- Valentines tote bag for a partnerRun the 6-inch on a thick canvas tote, nine colour changes look clean on light backgrounds.
- Wedding favour pouch or ring cushionthe 4-inch centre on a small pouch face is enough detail for a wedding favour gift.
- Love-themed wall hoop display for bedroomStitch the 5-inch version in a round embroidery hoop for wall display above a bed.
- Hoodie front chest Valentine giftAt 7 inches it fills a hoodie front panel, use medium cutaway on sweatshirt fleece.
- Baby announcement cushion for expecting couplesthe mid 4-in on a small cushion insert works for a couple's announcement photo prop.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
