Pulled this one together after a customer kept asking for something a bit more fun than the usual fancy wedding script. Its the stacked version with the mustache sitting right on top of 'mr.' and the lips tucked under 'mrs' at the bottom, the little '&' wedged in the middle almost as an afterthought. Alot of people overlook that detail but its what makes it work.
The lettering itself is thick and bubbly, not the thin calligraphy kind. Think novelty signage more than formal invitation. Runs at 1 colour, black thread all the way through, so theres no colour stop mid-hoop. The satin fill on the letters is dense enough that it reads well even at the 2-inch size, which is the smallest in the set. Hoop on medium cutaway stabiliser and youre good, the underlay keeps everything from pulling on knits.
Five sizes from 2.01 inches up to 6.01 inches wide. The 6-inch is the one customers put on throw pillows and tote bags for wedding parties, the smaller ones go on shirt pockets or towels. Stitch count runs from 2,611 at the smallest up to 8,731 at the largest. Digitised in industry-grade software so the density is mapped properly, it doesnt go puffy or gap out when you run it. Last month I had someone order every size to test on different fabrics, they said the 4-inch on cotton canvas was the clearest by far.
Best on cotton canvas, linen, or a thick fleece. And skip the topping on dark fabric, the black thread will disappear into it if the stabiliser isnt doing its job. Use white cutaway underneath and the contrast sorts itself out. Pop the smaller size on a shirt pocket for a quick groom gift.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Wedding favour pouches with couple's names added belowOne customer ordered the 3-inch on small muslin pouches and tied them with ribbon, filled with chocolates for the guest tables.
- Matching tote bags for bridal party giftsThe 4-in build sits nicely on the front panel of a cotton canvas tote, centred above the handle seam.
- Throw pillows for the newlywed bedroomA few people have run the 6-inch on white velvet pillow covers and said the satin stitch really pops against the pile.
- Canvas cooler bags for reception tablesHooped directly onto a canvas cooler, medium cutaway underneath, holds up to light washing without distortion.
- Shirt pocket monogram on groom's getting-ready shirtThe 2-inch fits the standard shirt pocket, one colour so theres no thread swap and the machine runs straight through.
- Linen napkins for rehearsal dinner table settingsCotton or linen napkins work well with the 3-in build, and the lips detail at the base is visible even on textured weaves.
- Front panel of a cotton zipper pouch keepsakeCentred on a 5-by-7 pouch front, the stacked layout fills the space without needing any extra text.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
