Its just the face. No body, no tail, no full unicorn silhouette. Just the front-on portrait with those long curved lashes closed down, two jewel-shaped eyes filled with shiny teal satin stitching, and a tall striped horn going navy to lighter blue from tip to base. The eyebrows are these flowing cyan swirl lines that curl outward at the ends, kinda like brushstrokes. Scattered around the whole face are 6 snowflakes in two sizes, small light blue ones and one larger navy one sitting just below the horn. Its a very clean, very modern look and its a design thats harder to pull off than it looks.
My niece is really into unicorns and I stitched this one out for her last winter on a pale grey jersey sweatshirt. Came out gorgeous. The satin fills in the jewel eyes really catch the light when the fabric moves, which is exactly what you want. Three colour changes total, very manageable. Theres 5 sizes going from 3.5 inches up to nearly 7.5 inches, with stitch counts from 8,000 up to just under 20k stitches at the top. Digitised in embroidery software so the density is consistent across all 5, you wont find thin patchy sections here.
Back it with a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser on jersey and fleece fabrics. The swirl brow lines are thin satin columns so they need proper support underneath or theyll shift during stitching. On woven cotton or denim a tearaway works fine. Use the smaller sizes under 5 inches for caps and hat fronts, the larger ones for sweatshirt chests and hoodie fronts. Dont rush the horn section, thats where most machines want to skip the stripe colour changes if youre going too fast.
Drop your needle speed slightly on the horn stitching. Light blue, white, grey or lavender fabrics are ideal. Anything pale really, the navy reads strong against light grounds. Skip dark charcoal or black fabric because youll lose the teal eye fills completely. Works nicely as a standalone design or combined with a glitter name block underneath for kids personalised gifts. Just message me if theres any issue with the file.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
