Three-part Halloween lineup in a single horizontal composition. On the left theres a tall broom with diamond and star shapes in the bristle area, in the centre a black cat sitting on the broom handle with a crescent moon and a couple of bats hovering above and a spider web hanging below with a lil spider on the end, and on the right another broom propped against a big round cauldron with a few more bats and stars floating around it.
Its all one black thread, start to finish. The whole thing is done in outline and fine line work rather than filled areas, which kinda keeps the stitch count down and makes the smallest sizes very clean and readable. One colour. Done. I get a bunch of messages asking if the web section actually stitches out properly at smaller sizes and yes it does, the density is kept conservative so the strands dont bunch up.
Comes in 6 sizes ranging from 1.44 inches wide up to 4.3 inches. Stitch counts run from 4,353 at the smallest up to 14,566 at the largest. All six digitised in my main software with proper underlay on the fine line sections so they hold shape on woven cotton and linen. The spider web has directional stitching to keep the radial lines sharp.
Use tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton or denim. Cutaway on stretch knits or lightweight jersey. Skip running this on fine silky fabrics since the open outline areas can shift during hooping. The smaller 1.44 inch version is seriously suited to sleeve cuffs, collar tips, and handkerchief corners. Send me the order number if the download doesnt come through and Ill get it sorted.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Halloween kitchen towelsStitch the 4 inch version across the border of a white cotton kitchen towel for a quick seasonal set.
- October tote bagsCentred on a canvas tote the 3 in baseline reads well and fills the front panel without being oversized.
- Spooky sleeve cuff detailUse the 1.44 inch smallest version on the cuff of a long-sleeve shirt or cardigan for a subtle halloween detail.
- Handkerchief cornersThe 1.44 inch size fits a handkerchief corner cleanly and makes a fast handmade halloween gift.
- Halloween quilt blocksUse individual elements as separate quilt block medallions by hooping and cutting the fabric into squares.
- Fall seasonal napkinsRun the 2 inch version on linen napkin corners for a halloween dinner table set that looks considered.
- Halloween sweatshirt pocket areaPop the 3-in placement on the left chest or pocket area of a plain sweatshirt for a wearable october piece.
- Trick or treat bagsthe 3 in baseline fills a trick or treat bag front nicely and the single colour keeps thread changes to zero.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
