Its basically a classic gift bow drawn in satin stitch and I love how clean it came out. Big looped wings that fan out symmetrically, a tight knot bunching up in the centre, and two ribbon tails that curl away at the bottom with little pointed tips. The whole thing is outlined in red, no fill at all inside, so the fabric shows through and the satin thread does the work. Very graphic, very sharp.
I went for satin-column outlines throughout because they hold the curve shape way better than a single running stitch would. The centre knot has those characteristic radiating stitch lines fanning outward, which is what actually makes it read as a real tied bow and not just a shape. Wilcom digitised the 9 sizes properly aswell, the smallest 3.51-inch version keeps the detail clean without the outlines crowding together.
People have been buying this one for gift-themed projects alot more than I expected. One customer stitched the 7.5-inch size on a white cotton gift bag last christmas and it honestly looked like proper retail packaging. I get email from buyers doing birthday wrapping, fabric bow-toppers, and gift tag patches with this one pretty regularly.
Stitch it on white, cream, or ivory fabric and the red really sings. Pop it on a natural canvas tote or a linen gift bag. Pair soft cutaway behind woven cotton, light cutaway on knit fabric if youre doing a shirt. Avoid busy patterned backgrounds because the open interior of the bow loses its shape against texture. Holler at me if the file causes any trouble and Ill get it sorted for ya.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
