Its a bow that decided to become a butterfly at the same time. The top loops flare out with those pointed butterfly-wing tips instead of the usual rounded bow shape, and right at the centre where the knot should be theres a small heart with satin lines radiating outward like sunrays. The two tails below are petal-shaped, wide at the top and coming to a point. The whole outline is in one aqua thread, no colour changes, no fill inside.

One colour, aqua, 0 colour changes and only 18 trims. Clean and quick to stitch. At the smallest 3.51-inch size its 5,375 stitches. The largest 7.51-inch runs to 12,022. Its a landscape-orientated design, wider than it is tall, so it naturally suits waistbands, pockets, hat brims, necklines. Density is 299 which means it stitches lightly and wont stiffen the fabric at all, even on delicate stuff like a silk-cotton blend.

Ive sold this one mainly to people doing fashion accessories and delicate clothing details. A customer this february bought it specifically to stitch on a pale linen blouse neckline for a spring wedding outfit. She chose white thread instead of aqua and the outline sat beautifully on the ivory fabric without overpowering. You can swap the colour to whatever matches your project, just pick a thread that contrasts enough with your fabric to read.

Stick to a tearaway stabiliser on woven fabric, the low density means tearaway is plenty. Skip the stabiliser entirely on jean denim if you're hooping with the grain, denim is self-supporting enough at this stitch count. Avoid fuzzy fleece, the delicate outline will sink into the pile.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
