Cropped in a really specific way and thats what makes it work. You get 2 big afro puffs taking up the whole top section, the face cut off above the forehead so the puffs are basically the sky. Then below the centre line sit 2 eyes looking straight out at ya, long dramatic lashes on each one, strong defined brows. No nose, no mouth, just the puffs and those eyes. Its a lil bit editorial, like a fashion magazine crop.
Single colour, all black, 1 stop, zero colour changes. The lash detail uses tight directional stitching so the individual lash lines actually read as separate strands rather than a blurred blob. Stitch count runs from 14,821 stitches at the smallest 3.06 by 4.51 inch to 29,814 at the full 5.10 by 7.51 inch. four sizes total. my software digitised the hair fill with a uniform density of 778 so its got good coverage without going boardy on lighter fabrics.
I made this one mainly for custom fashion tees and beauty brand merch. My customers who run lash studios and natural hair salons order it the most, Ive actually seen it on aprons behind salon chairs which looks really sharp on black linen. One buyer last month told me she stitched it on cream canvas shopping bags for her clients christmas gift packs and they sold out before she could photograph them.
Best results on a pale background so the black silhouette reads. Cream cotton, white canvas, soft grey jersey all work well. Avoid dark coloured fabric unless youre planning to stitch in cream or white thread instead. Pop the smaller size on a pocket or sleeve and keep the large 7.5-inch wide version for tote bag fronts or hoodie chests. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser underneath, especially through the puff fills which run dense at the top of the design.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Lash studio staff apronsEmbroider on black linen aprons for lash studio staff in white thread so the design reverses out crisply.

- Denim jacket back yoke embroideryRun the full-width 7.5-inch on the back yoke of a denim jacket yoke, centred just below the collar seam. Sharp on indigo denim.
- Framed wall art for beauty studio waiting roomHoop on cream linen, frame in a 9-inch hoop, hang in a beauty studio. The bold eyes make it a conversation piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
