Pulled together a clean side profile silhouette of a woman with a full round afro, the whole thing in one single colour. The head tilts very slightly upward and the neck is long and elegant, the afro sits as this big round mass above, thats the whole shape. No face details, no texture inside, just the pure bold outline filled solid.
Runs 5 sizes from 2.33 to 5.01 inches wide, stitch count tops at 24,217, smallest is 7,657 at the 2.33 inch size. Single colour keeps the digitising clean and the density at 645 is well balanced, you wont get that stiff cardboardy feel some solid fills have. Smooth satin sections on the neck and forehead, the afro volume uses a denser fill to hold the shape.
I get messages about this one almost every week, people love how versatile a single colour silhouette is. A customer wrote me last valentines day saying she used it in white thread on black fabric and sent it to her sister as a gift, I thought that was a great call. Email me any questions about colour combos, Ive tried alot of them now.
Works on cotton, denim, canvas and linen without issues. Use a cutaway stabiliser for any stretch fabric. Pick a strong contrast between thread and fabric so the silhouette reads at a distance.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
