Bold Black Queen, 4 colours, wide horizontal layout, the word QUEEN in thick block satin lettering with a small crown graphic sitting above or between the letters depending on size. Whole design runs wide and low, 3.5 inches at the smallest and 7.5 inches across at the largest, height only going from 1.55 to 3.32 inches. So its a banner-style design, not a tall square. Thats what makes it work on chest placement and waistbands.
Built this in my main digitising tool and the lettering columns are dense, density sitting at 852, so they really pop against dark backgrounds. Stitch count runs from 8,469 at the compact 3.5 inch version up to 21,211 at the largest run width. Four colour changes in the build. Back it with a medium cutaway stabiliser if youre stitching on jersey or stretchy knits, the width of the letters means you want everything held flat or youll get distortion on the thinner strokes.
My sister wanted this on a black tank top last february and honestly thats the classic way to wear it. Black fabric, gold or white thread, the lettering just stands out like nothing else. A customer told me they used the small 3.5-inch piece on a baseball cap bill and it stitched out clean, which suprised me a little because the cap hoop is tight but the low height makes it manageable.
Use polyester thread on the lettered sections for the best colour payoff and dont go below 40 weight or the satin columns will look thin. Pair the large 7.5 inch version with a plain crew neck sweatshirt and keep everything else minimal. Skip busy graphic prints, this design needs space to hit properly.
Ping me if you want a quick file check before you run it, happy to confirm the colour setup matches your thread order.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Statement sweatshirts and hoodiesThe 7.5 inch width fills a sweatshirt chest panel cleanly, reads from across a room.
- Black tank tops and crop topsOn a black cotton tank with gold thread the lettering has strong contrast and zero fussiness.
- Baseball caps and trucker hatsthe 3.5-in size for fits a standard cap bill, low height keeps it inside the hooping area.
- Tote bags and canvas pouchesWorks well centred on a canvas tote, especially with a bold thread colour against natural linen.
- Waistband placement on leggingsThe slim 1.55 inch height lets you stitch just below the waistband seam without crowding.
- Pillowcases and cushion coversStitch on a white pillowcase in black thread for a clean monochrome bedroom piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
