This one is kinda satisfying to look at. The candle is this bold dark green cylinder with wax drips running down both sides, the kind that look like they formed slowly over a long burn, not like a clip art blob. Sits in a wide orange-amber holder with a little loop handle on the side. The flame at the top is two-tone, red on the outside, orange in the centre, and the black wick ties it all together neatly.

Im genuinely surprised how well this reads at the 1.79 inch size. I tested it on a cotton tee pocket about 3 months ago, gonna be honest I was expecting the wax drips to disappear, but the digitising keeps them legible even that small. Stitch density is 698 which is on the firmer side for 4 colours, it needs a decent stabiliser. Tape a tearaway to the back for runs on cotton quilting fabric, for anything with give use a cutaway instead.

Wilcom EmbroideryStudio built the candle body with directional satin that angles slightly inward, so it reads as round even in two dimensions. 4 colours total: dark green, orange, red, black. 3 colour changes. Smallest size is 5,345 stitches at 2.51 by 1.79 inches, largest is 15,152 stitches at 5.51 by 3.94 inches.

Stitch this on a denim jacket cuff, pop it on a green canvas pouch, or run it on a wool blend christmas stocking. A customer last month stitched the 3.51 inch size onto a pair of white cotton oven mitts and they came out looking genuinely good. It also works on a white kitchen towel where the black outline pops against the pale background, and thats a combination that doesnt need much effort to look good.

Send me a note if anything with the file looks off and Ill rebuild it same day.

  • White cotton kitchen towelsBlack outline on white cotton kitchen towel gives excellent contrast at 3.51 inches
  • Green canvas holiday pouches and bagsThe 2.51 inch size centres perfectly on a canvas pouch front panel
  • Wool blend christmas stockingsFirm satin fill at 698 density holds up well through wool blend's thicker weave

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
