Its a proper bow shape, two loops and two tails, but the ribbon sections are filled with polka dots rather than flat satin, so the whole thing has a textured pattern-fabric feel to it. The dots are evenly spaced across each loop and tail and the knot in the centre holds it all together visually. Three thread changes, which gives you the main ribbon colour, the dot colour, and the outline or centre knot contrast. The density at 863 is high because of how the dot fill works, its basically a tatami fill with pattern overlaid so every dot needs proper coverage.
Stitch counts begin at 10,991 on the tiny version, reaching 38,233 on the 6 inch hoop. Thats the highest count in the range and it comes from all those dots at full size. Five sizes: 2.73 inches wide at the small end, 6.32 inches at the large, heights 3.02 to 7.01 inches. Wilcom mapped the density and underlay carefully here because with dot fill you need each section to stitch in the right order or you get jump stitches scattered everywhere. Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser, this is not a tearaway design, the density is too high and the fabric needs firm support throughout the run.
Girls accessories and gifting is where this one gets used the most. My customers stitch it on headbands, hair clips, small bags and kids clothing. A customer sent me an order this past saturday for her daughters birthday party favour bags, she wanted 12 matching canvas pouches with this bow on each. Im honestly surprised how well it holds up on smaller canvas pouches at 3 inches. Pop it on white cotton, blush, navy or black fabric and all three colour threads read cleanly. Lay water-soluble film over fluffy or looped fabrics.
Skip light tearaway on anything thicker than quilting cotton, the density needs that firm backing throughout the full stitch. Use the 2-3 inch size for pocket, hair clip base or small pouch placement, go up to 5-6 inches for a tote face or cushion front.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
