Its a proper heraldic king crown in solid gold thread, six sizes from 2.5 to 7.5 inch tall. 6 big jewel dots run along the outer arches, sittin in pairs at the curve peaks. The middle band has a thicker arch in the centre with a row of beaded gems running up the spine, leading to a stepped orb on top, then a small Latin cross perched on the orb. Around the lower band sit eight more round jewels, alternating big and lil between the upright spikes. The kinda crown you spot on royal coat of arms paperwork, not the fluffy princess type.

Filled with one gold thread, no second pass, so itll run in one go. Stitched directional across the band and arches so the gold catches light at different angles, gives the flat shape some life. Smallest sits at 1.77 by 2.51 inches at six thousand stitches, biggest hits 5.29 by 7.51 inches and twenty thousand stitches plus change. Density 520, dense because the gold thread needs to pack tight or itll patch out under bright store lighting.

Stitch on woven cottons with a 75/11 sharp needle. Bump up to 90/14 on heavier canvas or denim. Hoop cutaway stabiliser under stretch fabric so that long band sits flat. Iron a poly mesh on the back after stitching if your garment is light coloured and youre worried about shadowing through the front. Skip stretchy knits at bigger sizes, dense gold on jersey can pucker round the orb.

Last november a customer placed an order for the 4 inch on a his and her wedding throw pillow pair in cream linen. The gold satin sat sharp against the soft fabric and looked properly luxe. I get messages from folks doin monogram work too, the crown sits well above a single bold initial for that classic heraldic look. Pair it with the family last name underneath in serif lettering and youve got a heritage coat of arms feel without going the full shield.

Drop a note when the file complains on import, ill remap it to your machine format same day.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
