Just an outline bow, nothing filled in, nothing complicated. Two big looping wings in hot pink satin outline, a knotted center with those radiating spokes fanning out from it, and two ribbon tails hanging down. The empty interior is actually what makes it work, stitch it on a white cotton tee and the fabric shows through the loops which is the point.
The thread is a strong hot pink, not pastel, the kind that holds its intensity after washing without going dull. Only 1 colour and no thread changes, the machine just runs straight through from start to finish. Pop it on hooped linen or satin and the outline stitching looks really sharp against the weave. Use a light tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton and the edges stay crisp even after washing.
Stitch counts sit on the lower end because its an outline rather than a dense fill, 6,592 at the smallest size going up to around 15,000 at the 7-inch version. Run time is fast. Last spring I got a big run of orders for this on girls clothing and its always the smaller 3.5-inch size that goes on collar panels and cuffs. Stitch it, trim the jumps, and you're done. Skip sheer or loosely woven fabric, woven cotton or canvas holds the outline cleanest. Message me if you need any of the files resent and I'll do it no bother.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Girls clothing pockets, collars, and sleevesThe outline style keeps it delicate on smaller garment panels like collar edges, sleeve cuffs, and chest pockets on girls tops
- Hat brims and crown panelsFits nicely on structured hat brims, the outline doesnt add bulk the way a solid fill would on stiff cap fabric
- Lingerie bags and drawstring pouchesStitch it on cotton lingerie bags or small satin drawstring pouches for a feminine touch
- Hair accessories packaging and labelsWorks on fabric labels or hang tags for handmade hair accessories and bow clips
- Gift wrapping fabric and ribbon accentsThe bow motif on fabric gift wrap or a reusable ribbon panel makes the packaging part of the present

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
