Heres one I drew up alot of nights ago when my sister kept stealing my reading chair. The book is open with wildflowers spilling out the pages, daisies, lavender, lil pink buds. And the script up top reads like a quiet morning thought.

Stitch counts run 13493 on the small hoop up to 32073 on the 7.51 inch version. 12 colours total. 9 sizes. Density sits at 688 which means it sews dense enough to read clean on cotton but wont punch holes in lighter weaves aswell. Run a medium cutaway stabiliser on tees. Pop a tearaway under quilt blocks.

Id a customer use this on a librarian tote bag last march and she said the teachers at her school started asking where she got it. Thats the kind of feedback that keeps me digitising. But heres the trick with the script bit, hoop tight. Loose hooping makes the brush curves wobble. Atleast a 9 inch hoop for the biggest size.

So this fits sweatshirts, throw pillows, book sleeves, library totes, reading nook quilts. The dense floral spray means avoid fine silk or super light linen. But cotton, canvas, brushed fleece all take it nice. Holler at me on chat if a colour swap looks off and Ill sort it out same day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Reading nook throw pillowReading-nook throw pillow for the customers sister who kept stealing her favourite chair, my favourite ask of the whole year really.
  • Book sleeve cover panelQuilted book-sleeve cover for a paperback going into a beach bag, the tearaway plus rayon combination keeps the script soft on canvas.
  • Librarian canvas tote bagsets the design off well on a heavy 12-oz canvas tote without backing fuss, my customer loaded hers up at the library every week.
  • Sweatshirt front chest designReads as quiet-cosy rather than craft-cliche, which a school librarian said in her message to me a dozen sweatshirts for staff appreciation week.
  • Cotton quilt feature blockQuilt-block centre patch with a microtex 80/12 holding the fine outline detail, frames neat into a reading-nook bedspread.
  • Linen tea towel kitchenLinen tea towel hem for a book-shop break-room kitchen, the satin script lifts clean with a water-soluble topping underneath.
  • Cardigan back yoke pieceKnit cardigan back yoke for a teacher-gift order, ballpoint needle plus poly mesh keeps the knit stable across the dense floral pages.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
